Mario Lemina has lavished praise on his Wolves teammate Joao Gomes after his latest two performances.
Gomes has excelled since coming into the starting XI in place of Ruben Neves.

Gomes really dominated against Chelsea, snuffing out fires here there and everywhere.
He then followed that up with another really industrious display against Brentford on Saturday.
The Brazilian looks a serious player, and Wolves’ scouting network and recruitment team deserve a lot of credit for a bringing a player with this quality and potential to the club.
There is talk of Neves leaving the club in the summer.
He will have been at the club for six years, and some are almost resigned to that happening at this point.
But Gomes is helping fans to feel a bit better about that possibility.
He is slightly different to Neves in that he is more combative than technical at the moment. But the potential to become as influential as Neves in the future does seem to be there.

Gomes has struck up a nice partnership with Lemina in midfield in Neves’ absence.
And the Gabon international is really taken by the 22-year-old.
He said (via Express & Star): “When I see Joao play, I see me when I was younger.
“I really enjoy playing with him. He’s really clever and calm on the ball. He fights a lot and I really like that.
“We all know the quality of Joao in training, he deserves to play good and he’s done really well.”
Joao Gomes is the real deal for Wolves, and he does feel like a mini Mario Lemina
Wolves fans are very excited about Gomes.
In the last two games, he has shown exactly why Wolves were so keen to sign him in January.
The youngster has been a breath of fresh air in the engine room, and works really well with Lemina.
It is interesting to hear Lemina say that he sees a younger version of him in Gomes.

Certainly, the South American is a fine ball-winner just like him, and has real energy and tenacity in his game.
These are traits Lemina has too but of course right now, the 29-year-old has stronger technical qualities than his teammate.
But Gomes has plenty of developing to do and that side of his game will definitely improve a lot.
