Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Rafa Mir has made headlines once again over in Spain, scoring his 15th goal of the season for loan club SD Huesca.
The 23-year-old hit a brace against Elche in a 3-1 win on Friday – a result that follows a 2-0 victory over Levante, with Mir scoring both in that game.

His form is picking up just at the right time for Huesca – Mir now has six in his last five games.
The Spanish outfit have now climbed out of the relegation zone and are a point clear.
The local press have lapped up Mir’s contributions, with Diario del Alto Aragon titling a piece ‘The man of the moment’.

They say that Mir has been ‘decisive’ in the past couple of games, and has played a fundamental role in Huesca’s climb to safety.
It’s also claimed that ‘practically half the league’ are now looking at Mir as a potential transfer option, so good he has been.
Mir continues to given Wolves a headache
15 for the season is a brilliant return.

Especially since he’s playing in a team that has been struggling for most of the season.
Wolves simply have to take another look at Mir in pre-season.
Clearly he’s come a long way since his last appearance in old gold, and he could well save the club some money this summer.
