‘Madness’ – Wolves target Harvey Elliott has left Liverpool fans second-guessing after latest England display

Harvey Elliott looks set to leave Liverpool this summer, with Wolves one of several clubs interested.

Matheus Cunha’s transfer to Man United has left Vitor Pereira needing reinforcements in the final third.

With this in mind, Wolves have already signed Fer Lopez and could further add to their attacking roster with the potential signing of Elliott.

Wolves have long been linked with Elliott, with the 22-year-old seemingly set on departing Anfield this summer.

Elliott has impressed at the under-21 Euros so far and continued his fine form in England’s 3-1 win over Spain – a performance which has left Liverpool fans second-guessing their decision to sell the attacker.

Liverpool fans don’t want to sell Wolves target Harvey Elliott

Having struggled to stake his claim under Arne Slot, Elliott is keen not to waste his career on the Liverpool bench.

Reds fans, however, still want the attacker to remain at Anfield following his impressive displays at the under-21 Euros.

One fan said via X: “Wild that we’re going to sell Harvey Elliott. Madness.”

A third fan stated: “Always said we need to keep Harvey Elliott no matter what price is offered”

“Harvey Elliott is cooking in U21s man, can’t let him go without a buyback or sell on clause,” added another supporter.

Elliott has shone for England at under-21 Euros

Elliott’s eye-catching performances at the under-21 Euros would have done him no harm when it comes to finding a new club this summer.

The 22-year-old has flourished at the tournament, grabbing two goals, two player of the match accolades – all whilst captaining the side.

The Liverpool man was particularly impressive during the 3-1 win over Spain, grabbing England’s second on the night.

With that being said, Wolves will no doubt be keeping one eye on how Elliott does in the Three Lions’ upcoming semi-final versus the Netherlands.
