Wolves have a huge summer ahead of them, which includes multiple players departing and many new faces arriving at Molineux.
Matheus Cunha is set to join Manchester United after an incredible season at Wolves, with the Brazilian netting 17 goals in all competitions.
But the 25-year-old isn’t the only high-profile player being linked with a move away, as Rayan Ait-Nouri could leave Wolves after a career-best campaign from wing-back.
The Algerian, who has the most goal involvements of any defender in the Premier League, has earned the right to play for a bigger club.
Wolves fans will hope the 23-year-old commits his future to the club, just like Joao Gomes, and they’re also hoping one star gets a chance under Pereira following injury.

Wolves fans react after Sasa Kalajdzic returns to training
The Old Gold have two long-term absentees on their books. Yerson Mosquera suffered an MCL and ACL injury in September, keeping him out for the 2024/25 campaign, while Sasa Kalajdzic injured his ACL on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt last season, the third of his career so far.
The Austrian centre-forward has been put through hell during his time in Wolverhampton, only making 14 appearances for the club since completing a £15 million transfer in the summer of 2022.
Luckily, after over a year out of action, Kalajdzic was spotted in Wolves training on Thursday, and some supporters were delighted to have him back in contention.
Man Utd were prepared to pay 30 milliion 2 years ago! There’s a player there!!! Keep the faith!! one fan exclaimed.
“As a squad option I’m not against it. You can’t rely on him, missed like 9 years of a 10 year career but if you manage his mins. He is a long ball/ball in the box last 10 option,” another commented.
“Please let this be his last EVER serious injury. Good luck sasa,” a third replied.
“Great sight!” someone else exclaimed while a sixth said: “3rd choice CF. Chuck him on for the last 15 when we need a goal and I’m confident he could deliver. Unfortunately would have to limit him to that.”
Wolves plan with Kalajdzic
There were some mixed responses to the Kalajdzic news, as some felt he could be a solid squad option for Pereira, while others were worried about his injury record.
Ultimately, with his contract expiring in 2027, the towering centre-forward could remain at Molineux till then as it’s unlikely someone will take a gamble on him.

The player has been out of action for that long, it would take something special to shift him on, and there’s also a burning desire for the 27-year-old to give back after a wretched three years.
That is why Kalajdzic is unlikely to leave Wolves this summer. He feels he has something to offer as a backup to Jorgen Strand Larsen, and once he proves he can stay injury-free, perhaps the Wanderers will see the best of him.
