When Jhon Arias signed for Wolves there was a real buzz surrounding the player.
The Colombian had impressed at the Club World Cup, and it looked like Fosun had snapped up a highly talented player.
Arias impressed Wolves fans immediately during pre-season, but the buzz around him has slowly died down.
There is no doubt that Jhon Arias still is that talented player, but his start to the Premier League season hasn’t quite gone as hoped for him or Vitor Pereira.
Moving from the Brazilian Serie A to the Premier League was always going to entail a transition period, but journalist Liam Keen has one fear about the transfer now.
Liam Keen worried Wolves don’t have time to wait with Jhon Arias

Wolves look like they will be in a relegation battle, especially if they can’t start getting points on the board soon.
It will be a tough season for the Old Gold, as the newly promoted teams look much better than the previous two campaigns.
Of all Wolves’ signings, none of them came with previous Premier League experience, and journalist Liam Keen feels this could be an issue for both Wolves and Jhon Arias now.
Speaking on the Express and Star Wolves Podcast [13:48], Keen brought up previous Brazilians who joined Wolves and said they all needed time to adapt as well.
He then said, ‘So there’s a lot of examples as to why Arias is going to need a bit of time.’
‘I think that’s only fair to mention that the issue is and this comes back to the summer and the transfers…Wolves don’t really have a lot of other options and don’t have the luxury of waiting and having time.’
‘They need players to start performing now.’
Wolves’ next three games are all difficult, and they will need Jhon Arias at his very best in order to get results.
They play Newcastle and Tottenham away from home, and play relegation rivals Leeds United at Molineux.
It is vital they can come away with as many points as possible.
Jhon Arias needs to start producing up top for Wolves
Jhon Arias does need to start producing goals and assists for Wolves.
The Old Gold are sorely missing the talents of Matheus Cunha, and they desperately need Arias to fill the void.
He has yet to register a single goal or assist so far in the Premier League, but with the addition of Tolu Arokodare, there will be more firepower up top.
Wolves’ potential best XI could see Arias behind Larsen and Tolu, and perhaps that is the best way to unleash the talents of the Colombian.
Time will tell how Vitor Pereira decides to line up, but he needs the attacker to start firing sooner rather than later.
