Wolves head into the second international break at the bottom of the Premier League table.
While results have been poor, performances have started to improve over the last few weeks. However, late goals have become a heartbreaking trend for the Old Gold.
Wolves defender Hugo Bueno has said the club must attack more to start earning points on the board and to begin climbing out of the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Danny Murphy said Vitor Pereira was right to go defensive in the second half against Brighton.
Lee Naylor and Andy Thompson were speaking after the game, and the pair agreed Pereira’s decisions were surprising.
However, now Naylor has made a claim about the upcoming international break.
Lee Naylor thinks the international break has come at a bad time for Wolves

The international break can sometimes arrive at the perfect moment. The last came amid poor performances from Wolves.
The break allowed Vitor Pereira to reassess his squad and try to come up with solutions to turn things around.
The Wanderers have now started putting on better displays, and despite the disappointing circumstances, they have picked up their first points of the season in the last two games.
However, this time Lee Naylor believes the opposite is true and that the Old Gold would be better off if there were no international matches.
Naylor said, “I don’t think the international break is doing us any favours. I think we are gathering a little bit of momentum. It has been taken away. I would rather us have a game midweek now to go again.”
Wolves have a lot of players away on national duty, most notably Andre and Joao Gomes, who were called up for Brazil.
The South American duo will have to travel large distances as Brazil take part in friendlies in East Asia. However, others, such as Jhon Arias, have not been called up and will be able to continue work on the training ground.
Wolves must return from international break much better
Lee Naylor makes a great point; the rhythm Wolves have found could be stalled by the break in domestic football.
The Old Gold return with a crucial match against Sunderland. Going without a win at the Stadium of Light is not out of the question due to the newly promoted side’s form, but Vitor Pereira needs three points more than ever.

There has been good work on the training ground the last few weeks, and that is evident in the performances, even if the results are not what was expected.
It will be on the head coach to ensure that the momentum they have found continues to rise and does not halt. If so, Wolves can still find a way out of their situation.
