Bruno Lage has said that Yerson Mosquera and Favio Silva have tested positive for Covid ahead of Wolves’ clash with Chelsea.
He said that Wolves are waiting for tests to confirm the initial ones, at a time when the virus is causing havoc across the Premier League.
Lage said earlier this week that the whole squad have had both vaccinations and that they are looking at getting everyone the booster as well.
Lage did not give much away on the injuries to Hwang Hee-Chan and Rayan Ait-Nouri, both of who suffered problems on Wednesday night.
Hwang started the game against Brighton but was forced off in the first half, to be replaced by Adama Traore.
Ait-Nouri was initially named in the starting XI before being forced to pull out due to a problem he was struggling with pre-match.
Mosquera would have missed the game against Chelsea anyway because he is recovering from a long-term injury.
He has been training with the squad out on the grass for the first time, as he steps up his rehab.
Silva only got one minute on the pitch as a substitute at the Amex Stadium, despite Raul Jimenez’s suspension and that suggests he would not have played much of a part here anyway.
