Wolves are in major trouble, after losing yet again in the Premier League to Leeds United – and Sky Sports pundit Kris Boyd gave a damning verdict yesterday evening.
Wolves took the lead at Molineux through Ladislav Krejci, but this seemed to light a fire beneath Leeds.
Leeds equalised through Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who headed in after finding space between Yerson Mosquera and Emmanuel Agbadou.
Then Leeds went ahead, with Anton Stach scoring from a free-kick after a foul by Krejci on the edge of the box.
Then just before half-time, Noah Okafor put Leeds 3-1 up, with Agbadou turning over possession cheaply.
Wolves fans chanted against Fosun at Molineux, and the mood is threatening to become toxic.
And for Kris Boyd, the situation is not good for Wolves.

Kris Boyd wonders where Vitor Pereira and Wolves go now after ‘comfortable’ Leeds win

With yesterday’s defeat, Wolves have now become only the sixth Premier League side to lose the first five games.
And the optics of this latest loss are particularly poor, with Wolves handing Vitor Pereira a new contract just days ago.
Pereira recently stated he could raise the level at Wolves, pointing to what he achieved last season. But he simply has a far weaker squad now, and most supporters are no longer optimistic.
Pundit Kris Boyd watched yesterday’s game for Sky Sports, and has questioned where Wolves actually go from here, suggesting this was actually an easy win for Leeds.
He said on Gillette Soccer Saturday: “You wonder where Wolves and Vitor Pereira go from here.
“He signed a new deal, that’s five games, all defeats, go to Spurs next week, then at home to Brighton – the fixtures don’t get any easier for them.
“They looked really disjointed today, really. It’s going to be an uphill task for them.
“But we’ve seen this before. Wolves, they seem to always start the season really, really slow. But they’ve got a lot of hard work to go.
“They went more direct in the second-half and tried to ask questions of Leeds, had a couple of opportunities, but nothing to cause them a lot of problems, Leeds stood up to them. They could have maybe scored another couple on the counter-attack.
“Leeds, for me, I thought they looked comfortable and strong, Wolves have got a lot of hard work to go.”
Wolves surviving relegation would be a miracle
Wolves are sleepwalking towards relegation, make no mistake about it.
The squad is significantly weaker this season compared to last, and Wolves have no game-changers and no true leaders.

Wolves seem unable to defend balls into the box, while at the same time having trouble creating meaningful chances for the strikers.
Fosun have played with fire for years with their ‘buy low, sell high’ transfer strategy and this is now looking like the season they finally get burnt.
