Securing Jorgen Strand Larsen to a new contract is perhaps one of the only pieces of positive news to come out of Wolves over the last month.
The Norwegian put pen to paper on a deal lasting until 2030 after a summer of uncertainty due to Newcastle’s interest in signing him.
It was one of Wolves’ best decisions off the pitch in recent times, but the performances on the pitch have been nothing short of unacceptable.
There are many Wolves players out of form, and Vitor Pereira has defended them after the match vs Leeds.
But now, Jorgen Strand Larsen has now publicly come out and said who he believes the blame needs to be put on.

Jorgen Strand Larsen says the Wolves squad need to take collective blame
Jorgen Strand Larsen returned from injury to play 45 minutes against Leeds United. The Norwegian came off the bench with the score at 3-1, and the score remained the same until the final whistle.
Speaking after the game with Wolves’ official website, Strand Larsen has said that the whole team is to blame for their poor start.
Larsen said, “It’s bad. As simple as that. I think we’re in a really, really tough spot right now and I’m really disappointed in all of us. No-one wants to be in this situation, but we have no one else to blame or nothing else to complain about – only ourselves.”

The 25-year-old was not able affect the game in the way he wanted to how he wanted to after coming on, but Wolves do lack creativity and chance creation in the final third.
Fer Lopez showed a hint of brilliance for Krejci’s goal, and a link-up between the Spaniard and Larsen could be a key combination later down the line.
The pair, however, will need to get used to playing with each other, and so far Vitor Pereira has not opted to do so.
Jorgen Strand Larsen confident of Wolves turning things around
Despite all the negativity around Wolves, Strand Larsen is still remaining positive.
The Wolves number nine said, “Of course it can’t continue like this, but I believe in us. I believe in the players, I believe in the manager and I believe in the club.
“What we have is something really special and something really good – we showed that last season with our six-game winning spell, so we have the quality, and we just need to find those small details that just put us in the right way instead of conceding and losing games.
“Right now, we are missing a little bit of flair, and missing a little bit of fire in us, but that will come and it has to come quick.”
The fixtures are coming quickly for the Old Gold, as they now face Everton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night at 7:45 pm.
Vitor Pereira’s side did lose to them earlier in the season in a close affair at Molineux, and now they will be hoping to get the better of the Toffees this time.
