Jorgen Strand Larsen has explained what Vitor Pereira has brought to Wolves to help turn their form around.
So far, Pereira’s appointment could not have gone better. The Wolves manager has remained unbeaten in his first three games, picking up two wins and a draw.
Upon Gary O’Neil’s sacking in mid-December, the club were 19th in the Premier League, five points from safety.
Yet, in just three games, Pereira has pulled Wolves up to 17th and they are now two points above the drop zone.
For a team that has almost doubled its points total in three games, it has been a remarkable change of fortunes.
Now, Larsen has explained what the manager has brought in to help guide the club to safety.
‘Vitor Pereira has brought good energy to Wolves’ – Jorgen Strand Larsen

Upon O’Neil’s sacking, the atmosphere around the club was at an all-time low. Wolves players were involved in brawls at full-time and the fans had turned on O’Neil.
In his final game, the former Wolves manager refused to take responsibility for the defeat to Ipswich as his reign crumbled.
However, since Pereira has been brought in, the atmosphere has flipped and Larsen believes that the new boss is to thank for that.
After the draw vs Spurs, he said: “It has been really short, we have not had a lot of training sessions together but the message is clear, it is about being a team.
“Gary and the old staff tried that as well but they [Pereira] have been bringing in a lot of good energy and that is important to us.
“It has been a really great start and hopefully, we can continue that.”
Vitor Pereira has brought belief back to the Wolves squad

In O’Neil’s final games, it seemed that no one believed the club were going to win. The players, manager and fans were on their knees as defeats became more common by the week.
However, despite only being in charge for less than a month, Pereira has been a breath of fresh air.
The manager has clearly installed belief back into the players and this was one show vs Spurs and the visitors clawed a point back late on.
Wolves’ squad is clearly full of talent and it just needed someone to help them believe again.
Hopefully, this can continue into 2025 and the club can push up the table, leaving their relegation worries behind them.
