Jermaine Jenas described Diego Costa’s performance against Brentford as ‘vintage’ on last night’s Match of the Day.
Wolves picked up another huge three points at Molineux to go seven clear of the relegation zone.

After the 1-0 win over Chelsea, it was another fine display.
Julen Lopetegui made just one change to his starting XI, bringing in Pablo Sarabia for Daniel Podence.
Wolves played brilliantly in the game, and got their noses ahead through Costa, who led the line superbly.
He collected a cross from Toti Gomes after driving forward with the ball, and stabbed the ball home for his first goal for the club since joining last September.
It was no less than his display deserved.
Hwang Hee-chan then added a second in the second-half, and Wolves were able to manage to game well in the closing stages.
Seeing Costa score yesterday was extremely satisfying.

The 34-year-old has worked so hard for the team, and yesterday he put in his best display since joining.
And he impressed Jenas, who reckons he rolled back the years.
He said: “When he arrived at Wolves the match fitness wasn’t there, it’s took him a while to get up to speed.
“In today’s game, he looked as fit as he’s looked in a Wolves shirt. The hold-up play was great today. Every time that ball went into him, it was in secure hands. The turning, the finding a pass, the getting shots off, bringing others into play.
“It was all there to see, it was like a vintage Diego Costa type performance. He ruffled a few feathers as well. And he earned his bit of luck (with the goal).”
Diego Costa was absolutely fantastic against Brentford – he’s been huge for Wolves recently
Costa led the line brilliantly yesterday.
The £50,000-a-week star’s link-up play with Matheus Cunha in particular was very good indeed. And to see him finally score was fantastic.

There could not have been a more popular goalscorer for Wolves. The chants for Costa afterwards were a real suggestion of that.
Without doubt, he has played a huge part in Wolves’ last two victories to send the club seven points clear of danger.
