Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore has been questioned by Jermaine Beckford, following an underwhelming 2020/21 season so far.
Officially, the winger is yet to score or assist in the Premier League in 25 appearances.

He has been somewhat unfortunate – it was his strike that led to Illan Meslier’s own goal in the win over Leeds United.
He won a penalty against Brighton in the first game of 2021 that was converted by Ruben Neves.
Traore has also been very busy in terms of his dribbling and crossing, but there has been some wastefulness from teammates.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Presiding over Newcastle vs Wolves as a pundit for Sky Sports last night, ex-Leeds striker Beckford gave his thoughts on Traore, who has been linked with a move to the Whites (Eurosport).

He said during the pre-match coverage on Saturday Night Football: “He annoys me! I’ll tell you why. He is so quick, explosively quick, one of the quickest players I think I’ve ever seen off the mark over five, ten or fifteen metres.
“But he’s so inconsistent! And that’s the thing that frustrates myself, but also his teammates, his manager and the fans of Wolves as well.
“Everybody knows how good he is in terms of the quality that he can possess. It’s just seeing it on that consistent basis.”
Hard to argue
Beckford probably speaks for a lot of Wolves fans.

Traore is very annoying in the sense that, he is blessed with these amazing physical qualities but is indeed let down too often by his end product.
There is still plenty of time left in his career for him to sort it out, but right now – as enthralling as he can be to watch at times – he definitely frustrates.
