Jeff Shi has broken his silence about the situation at Wolves tonight in a rare interview with an external media source.
Jeff Shi and Fosun were the subject of protests from Wolves fans on Monday night, with many congregating outside of the Billy Wright Stand.
Fans are livid at the moment having watched a steady decline at the club in recent years.
Fosun have made a string of decisions that have contributed to Wolves making the worst ever start to a season by a Premier League club, and it looking highly likely that the club will be relegated next term.
Fan groups shared that they’d had no response from Fosun after the protest, but the silence has now been broken.
Tonight, an interview with Shi and technical director Matt Jackson was released by BBC Radio West Midlands – and the chairman made an extremely bold claim.
Jeff Shi claims chemistry and communication is the best it’s been in 10 years at Wolves

Shi is coming in for yet more criticism for his interview with BBC Radio WM.
Unfortunately, the chairman has given the impression that he simply does not care about the gravity of the situation.
The overall tone is one of acceptance that relegation is on the cards, but that fans should not worry.
“And there was one claim towards the start of the interview that fans will have a hard time with.
Shi said: “For the people, that’s another aspect I have to look after. I feel it may look or sound strange, but I feel maybe it’s the best time in my 10 years, when we have galvanised a group of people, elite people. We feel we share the same views, the same principles. Always high calibre.
Wolves fans, was there anything at all good about Jeff Shi’s new interview? 🥴
The chairman has spoken out alongside technical director Matt Jackson
“Also the chemistry and communication is very good at the moment. Maybe the best I have seen in the last 10 years.
“So I hope and I wish this team, this core team, can grow together. We have a long way to go, but I think the next two or three years we can have a stable team or achieve something as a team. For this, I feel very good.”
In terms of Wolves on the pitch, Shi admits it is one of the worst moments.
A tone-deaf interview
When it was announced earlier today that Shi was going to conduct an interview with an external media source, there was actually some buzz within the fanbase.
Perhaps this would finally be the moment that Shi would be asked some really tough questions, and be properly held to account.
Shi was challenged but, frustratingly, he did not acknowledge the gravity of the situation at all, and looked for positives – that are not even that relevant – wherever he could.
The impending doom that is relegation just does not seem to bother him, and once again, there are feelings of rage for Wolves fans this evening.
