Wolves have come in for huge praise for laying on a truly special experience for a young fan, with Jack Grealish praising Mario Lemina for his role.
On Friday, the club released a video across their social channels about eight-year-old Frazer.
Frazer has gone through a lot in his life. He is blind, and went through 64 operations to try and save his eyesight.
He was born without an eye in one socket, and his other was what is called a ‘micro eye’. During lockdown, his retina detached, leaving him totally blind.
After receiving an email from Frazer’s family, the club grouped together to give Frazer the best day of his life last weekend.
In the video Wolves released, it shows Fraser meeting all the players and Julen Lopetegui.
And it is Lemina who is especially amazing with Frazer.
The midfielder met him before and after the game and was blown away by the youngster’s spirit.
The pair played on the pitch together after the win over Brentford, and the whole thing is just fantastic.
The video from Wolves has now been seen over four million times on Twitter, and many fans have hailed the club and Lemina for making Frazer’s day so special.
And last night, after Manchester City’s win over Sheffield United in the FA Cup, Jack Grealish reacted to the clip, writing on Twitter: “Ahh man. What a brave little guy, so touching. And top class from Lemina also.”
Grealish is well known for being great with young fans himself.
He drew praise earlier this year for meeting young City fan Finlay, who has cerebral palsy. He promised he would dedicate a goal celebration to him, and he did when he scored for England.
Wolves never miss with this kind of thing, and Mario Lemina is a class-act
This is what it’s all about.
Football has the power to do truly amazing things, and Frazer and his family now have memories to cherish forever.
It sounds like he has been through a heck of a lot, so what Wolves have done here is amazing. Frazer’s outlook on life despite his challenges is absolutely inspirational.

And it isn’t the first time Wolves have done something special for a young fan. Last year, Conor Coady met young fan Logan, who had been having trouble with school bullies, which was set up by The Wolves Foundation.
It is brilliant to see the club doing things like this and long may it continue.
And a word for Lemina. He is a credit to himself and the club. Clearly, he is an amazing human being as well as a top footballer.
