‘Interesting’: Peter Crouch predicts who’ll win this weekend – Wolves or Aston Villa

Wolves welcome Aston Villa to Molineux this weekend in what will be a really tough game.

Gary O’Neil‘s men will be walking out confidently at Molineux this Sunday with the win over Manchester City last week fresh in the memory.

However, Wolves won’t be the only confident side there as Aston Villa come off a 6-1 thumping of Brighton and their home Europa Conference League win on Thursday.

Molineux will be rocking and several players are on fire for the home side which makes a win look possible.

But Peter Crouch doesn’t agree with that when he was giving his predictions for the leagues fixtures.

Crouch predicts Wolves v Villa

Speaking on That Peter Crouch Podcast, the former Liverpool striker admitted he likes Wolves but can’t see them getting by Villa.

“Interesting one this. I think Wolves off the back of beating Man City and at home.

“But I just don’t think they score enough goals, I like them, they do a lot of good work but I just don’t think they score enough goals and I think Villa are strong.”

He then concluded with his decision on the game, saying a Villa win is most likely, “I love Unai Emery, I like the team at the moment, so I’ve gone Villa 2-0.”

Can Wolves steal a victory

Wolves showed last week they can get it done, in contrast to Peter Crouch’s views as they scored two by City.

If they are to get points from this game, it likely comes in a similar manner to the City game, with quick breaks and limited chances.

This means Wolves will probably rely on Pedro Neto to provide the goods once again as he continues his brilliant season.

We have a suspicion that Wolves can grab at least a point here, especially with Villa potentially suffering from a hangover after their European exploits.
