‘I’m going to go’: Gary Neville now makes score prediction for Wolves vs Manchester City

Gary Neville has made his score prediction for Wolves vs Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend.

Wanderers host City at Molineux, and are looking to bounce back from a very disappointing defeat to Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup.

Wolves lost 3-2 against the Championship side at Portman Road.

It was a really bad result, especially considering Wolves went 2-0 up inside 15 minutes.

O’Neil had rung the changes, and very few players made the most of their opportunities. The manager did praise Boubacar Traore for his efforts, though.

Wolves are licking their wounds right now, but things are not about to get any easier with City coming to town on Saturday.

And Sky pundit Gary Neville does not foresee any shocks this weekend…

It is the first episode of ‘Stick to Football’, featuring Neville, Jill Scott, Jamie Carrgher, Ian Wright and Roy Keane.

The pundits have given their score predictions for the weekend clash between Wolves and City.

For Neville, there will not be an upset.

He said: “I’m going to go Manchester City two, Wolves nil.” Wright then chipped in with ‘I can’t see them (Wolves) scoring’.

Wolves seriously up against it to get a result against Manchester City

So Neville has predicted a 2-0 away win, and there will probably be some Wolves fans out there right now who would actually take that over a potential thrashing.

City have been perfect so far this season in terms of results. They’ve won every game they’ve played and they are not even in their best form yet.

It’s worrying to think how this game could pan out, with Wolves in such poor form.

Wanderers really needed a morale-boosting win against Ipswich. Instead, it was a confidence-sapping defeat.

You never know in football though. O’Neil can somehow pull something out of the bag, then that could really be the catalyst for Wolves going forwards.
