Dave Edwards believes Nelson Semedo had his best game ever in a Wolves shirt against Manchester City.
Wanderers fans are still buzzing from Saturday’s game which saw City fall to a shock 2-1 defeat at Molineux.
Wolves got three massive points, which came just days after losing to Ipswich Town.
There were so many fantastic individual performances.
Pedro Neto made headlines again for the role he played in the opening goal and the way he gave Nathan Ake the runaround all game.
And Hwang Hee-chan has also been hailed for scoring the winner and continuing his fine form.
The three centre-backs were all excellent, too.
But Edwards has moved to shower praise on someone who hasn’t been getting quite as much credit as those other players…
Dave Edwards makes big claim about Nelson Semedo’s performance against Manchester City
Edwards has put in a kind word for Semedo, who was practically faultless against City.
Wolves fans will have been nervous ahead of kick-off, with the very pacy Jeremy Doku starting out on the left for the visitors.

But Semedo gave the Belgian absolutely nothing.
The Portuguese full-back was absolutely solid defensively, and was equal to everything Doku threw at him.
And it was the same story when Jack Grealish came in for the closing stages.
And of course, Semedo played a key role in Wolves’ winning goal, crossing the ball for Hwang who saw his first shot blocked before finishing the lay off from Cunha.
Edwards said (Express & Star): “Nelson Semedo’s best game in a Wolves shirt was at Old Trafford, but I think he topped that here.”
Semedo has started very well for Wolves
On the whole so far this season Semedo has been very good for Wolves.
He was absolutely outstanding against Manchester United in the first game.
And he may well have been even better against City.

Semedo really does have a fantastic all-round game.
The only thing with him, and this has always been the case really, is showing consistency.
