Sasa Kalajdzic has spoken about how he felt during his time at Wolves and why he’s delighted to be at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Wolves sanctioned the loan deal of Sasa Kaladjdzic earlier this month, allowing him to join Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
The decision was met with mixed emotions from supporters, who were worried about how light it would leave them in the forward line after already letting Fabio Silva join Rangers.
Since letting that duo depart, Gary O’Neil has expressed his desire to sign a new striker as Matheus Cunha and 18-year-old Nathan Fraser are his only two options currently.
Whilst that hasn’t been achieved as of yet, it is hoped at least one body will arrive through the door before the window slams shut.
After departing Molineux on loan, Kalajdzic has since revealed how happier he feels since joining Frankfurt, despite previously saying he’d like another crack at the Premier League.

Sasa Kalajdzic drops a hint about his feelings towards Wolves
Wolves captured the £14.5 million signing of the Kalajdzic from Stuttgart in August 2022.
The 26-year-old has struggled for minutes since his arrival, making just 12 appearances in the Premier League.
While that can be put down to a bad stroke of luck with injuries, he struggled to worm his way into O’Neil’s plans when fit with sporting director Matt Hobbs claiming that the ‘human side’ played a part in allowing him to depart on loan.
Kalajdzic has a right to feel disgruntled by how his spell at Molineux has turned out so far, hinting about how miserable he was at the club and how happy he is to have secured a move.
Speaking to the German club’s official TV channel, he said: “I’m basically happy to play for a club and a team where you have the feeling that you’re really important. I have that feeling here,
“I want to be in the here and now and look from game to game. I’m looking forward to the second half of the season, I think we have great potential in the team. We also have players with great quality coming back.”
Is there a way back at Kalajdzic at Wolves?
Given how unhappy he seemed in the Midlands and the fact he isn’t an O’Neil signing, there appears to be no way back for the towering Austrian at Wolves.
Kalajdzic has a strong affinity with the Bundesliga having plundered 24 goals in 60 appearances during his time at Stuttgart.
If he can replicate such form with Frankfurt, there is next to no chance supporters will see him don the Wolves shirt once more.
With Wanderers needing to comply towards FFP rules, selling assets is an effective way to navigate through that and the Kalajdzic could be one of those they consider offloading in the summer unless he fancies having another shot at the top flight.
