Gary O’Neil has praised Pedro Neto following his lively performance for Wolves in the 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace.
Wanderers could not follow up the wins over Everton and Blackpool in the cup, and are now three defeats from four in the Premier League.
Odsonne Edouard scored a brace and Ebere Eze was also on target for the hosts.
Hwang Hee-chan and Matheus Cunha got the goals for Wolves – and both were set up by Neto.
Neto has now got three assists in the Premier League – no one in the division has more.
And after yesterday’s game, O’Neil had some kind words about Neto…
Gary O’Neil is fond of Wolves attacker Pedro Neto
Speaking after the defeat to Palace, O’Neil shared his feelings about Neto, who is undoubtedly one of Wolves’ most in-form players at the moment.

He said (via Birmingham Mail): “I have always liked him. His attitude and approach since I have been here has been top notch. I can’t speak highly enough of him at the minute, I think he has been incredible.
“He has played off both sides. I thought he would get some joy down this side today, that was the reason for the switch. He did get some joy but the big story is we leave with nothing which is disappointing.”
Neto was surely Wolves’ best player yesterday.
Where many of his teammates faltered, Neto was a constant threat and put in some really good balls.
Pedro Neto form is positive for Wolves
It is really good to see Neto start the season so positively for Wolves.
Three assists in four games is impressive, and Wanderers will be hoping he can keep up this kind of level.
Neto has shown he has great delivery into the box.

With Sasa Kalajdzic being back fit again, there is potential for Wolves to start scoring a bit more regularly.
Ideally, we will start to see the Pedro Neto of two years ago make a return.
