Hwang Hee-chan names the ‘exceptional’ Wolves player with ‘the best’ technique at Molineux

Wolves have a lot of technical players these days – but Hwang Hee-chan believes there is one who is a cut above the rest.

Wanderers may have lost Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho last summer, but Gary O’Neil has a number of players at his disposal who are really good with the ball.

Whether that be players who can dribble, or break the lines with their passing, you don’t have to look too far to find a player at Molineux with great technical ability.

But in the eyes of top goalscorer Hwang, there is one player on the books at Wolves who is the top man when it comes to the technical stuff…

Today, Wolves released a Q&A video featuring Hwang, which was filmed just he headed off to the Asia Cup with South Korea.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a truly fantastic season so far, scoring 11 goals across all competitions.

It will be a major boost for O’Neil and the team when he comes back, and hopefully he’ll be able to pick up where he left off.

One many who is now returning to Wolves from international duty is Rayan Ait-Nouri, with Algeria crashing out of AFCON at the group stages.

Wolves having Ait-Nouri again is huge, as he has been outstanding this term for Wanderers and has really thrived under O’Neil, after being frozen out by Julen Lopetegui.

Ait-Nouri is a superb young talent, and for Hwang, he’s actually the most technically gifted player Wolves have right now.

When asked which skill he would take from any of his Wolves teammates, he said (Wolves official): “There are a lot of great players. But when it comes to technique, Rayan is the best. He’s a player with the most exceptional and special skills.”

Ait-Nouri’s potential is frightening

Ait-Nouri is enjoying a brilliant season for Wolves and it’s so good to see considering his end to last season.

The youngster is without doubt one of the most talented players at Molineux and Hwang might be right with his claim that he is the best technically.

There are other brilliant players when it comes to this, such as Pablo Sarabia and Pedro Neto.

But Ait-Nouri definitely dazzles with his footwork at times, and you always back him to get out of tight areas and pressure situations.

A statistic recently indicated that Ait-Nouri was also really strong defensively, so Wolves really do have a serious prospect on their hands.
