Wolves are stepping on the gas in the transfer window after unveiling their third addition of the summer.
Wolves confirmed the signing of David Moller Wolfe on Saturday, with the 23-year-old joining on a five-year contract from AZ Alkmaar.
A £10 million transfer was agreed for Wolfe on Thursday, and he was persuaded to join the club after a conversation with Norwegian teammate Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Wolfe is seen as a direct replacement for Rayan Ait-Nouri, whose dazzling performances last term earned him a £36 million move to Manchester City.
Sadly, the arrival of the exciting left wing-back could impact the future of academy Hugo Bueno.

Wolves could sell Hugo Bueno this summer
In the left wing-back spot, Wolves have three options to choose from, with Wolfe, Bueno and Rodrigo Gomes all battling for a starting place against Manchester City on August 16.
When he returned from his loan at Feyenoord this summer, Bueno wanted guaranteed first-team football at Molineux and was expected to become first-choice after Ait-Nouri left.
The addition of Wolfe suggests minutes will be shared in that position, and that won’t please Bueno, who is wanted by Feyenoord after his successful loan spell.
Speaking about how the signing of Wolfe could impact the 22-year-old’s future, Express & Star journalist Liam Keen said there’s a possibility he could leave and his future is ‘one to watch’ before the window shuts.
“I think there’s a market there for Bueno at the moment,” Keen said on the E&S podcast. “If Wolves are going to make a good fee on him, probably get a similar fee to what they’ve signed.
“Around 10 million quid. Maybe you might even get slightly more for Bueno potentially. He’s played at Feyenoord and played Champions League football.
“I would like him to be part of the Wolves squad next season. But I think it’s one to watch over the next few weeks, because if Wolves can have a deal, Bueno is happy to go and play.”

David Moller Wolfe is an improvement on Bueno
There is no room for sentiment in football, and Pereira has accepted that Bueno can’t directly replace the skill and speed of Ait-Nouri down the left, needing someone else to come in.
With three goals and eight assists to his name in all competitions last term, Wolfe has the potential to produce some incredible attacking output for Wolves, particularly with crosses into Strand Larsen.

How Wolfe ranks against Ait-Nouri is also telling, with the Norwegian international beating the Algerian for final third entries and almost matching him across several other metrics.
During their winless streak during pre-season, Wolves have lacked speed and athleticism down the left flank, but luckily, Wolfe possesses such attributes in abundance and promises to be a smart addition.
