Hugo Bueno has said that he knows what Wolves’ issue is, as they have gone winless in their opening eight Premier League games this season.
The Old Gold have yet to hit the ground running, and week after week, the supporters are going home disappointed.
Performances have been way off the level, and relegation is now a stark possibility, but Vitor Pereira believes he is still the man to turn things around.
The Portuguese placed blame on his players against Sunderland, and that is a dangerous game to try to step into.
However, speaking after the defeat to the Black Cats, Hugo Bueno believes they know the problem they have to fix.

Hugo Bueno says Wolves must solve goalscoring issues
Hugo Bueno has been one of very few Wolves players that have been performing this season.
The Spaniard still leads the way in chances created for the Old Gold and has been one of the more creative players for the club.
However, the defender doesn’t think the problem lies in the chances themselves but rather in what happens at the end of them.
Bueno said (via Wolves.co.uk), “It doesn’t matter about the chances you create; you have to put the ball in the back of the net. We know this is our problem right now; we are struggling with it.
“We just have to look for solutions and get better, because next weekend we have a massive game in front of us. It’s not the time to put our heads down. Even though it’s sad, it’s painful to be like this, but we have a massive game next week.”

There is an element of truth in what Hugo Bueno says. Tolu Arokodare and Jorgen Strand Larsen have not scored in the Premier League this season.
Although, both have scored in the league cup.
In fact, Wolves’ top Premier League scorer is an accolade being shared by four players at the moment: Hwang Hee-chan, Ladislav Krejci, Rodrigo Gomes, and Santiago Bueno, who have all scored once.
However, Bueno is also wrong about it not mattering about the chances you create.
Wolves’ forwards have not had much service
Wolves are ranked 17th for xG created (7.0), according to FotMob, showcasing that their forwards are not being given high-quality chances.
Additionally, the Old Gold have created just five big chances across eight Premier League games so far this season, the lowest of any team.
While the output up top is poor, the service is equally as bad.
Vitor Pereira must get his players into better positions to deliver service or give them more licence to be creative while maintaining a strong and structured back line.
They cannot expect both Strand Larsen and Arokodare to score when they are barely given good opportunities to do so.
