How the Norwegian media rated Wolves’ David Moller Wolfe in 5-0 win vs Israel

David Moller Wolfe was in action for Norway in their 5-0 win against Israel in World Cup qualifying.

The Wolves defender has barely seen minutes for his club, but on the international stage, he is a starter for his nation.

Moller Wolfe has spoken recently about his lack of minutes, and the international break was a good chance for him to play and send a message to Vitor Pereira.

The Wolves head coach has said his chance will come, and it could be sooner rather than later if he performs well for Norway.

Here is how he got on according to the Norwegian media.

David Moller Wolfe had ‘easy’ time for Norway

The verdict from the Norwegian media is in, and it is not terrible news for David Moller Wolfe.

The Wolves defender seemed to put on an OK performance, but it may not have been enough to catch the attention of his club head coach.

TV 2 gave him a 7/10, saying, “Some messy touches, but always willingly offensive. Could have got the ball several times on the overlaps. Could have used his right foot when he got the chance in the box. Then I think he would have scored.”

Meanwhile, Dagbladet gave him a 6/10 and said, “Good at setting up Nusa. Had steely control at left back, in what was an easy day at work for the Norwegian defence.”

The defender played just 76 minutes before being substituted.

Overall, it appears it was just a run-of-the-mill performance from Moller Wolfe. He was not exceptional, nor did he do anything wrong.

The victory puts Norway on course for the 2026 World Cup, and the Wolves defender will want to start getting game time at his club in preparation for the tournament, but one man could stop that from happening.

While Wolfe seems set to feature in the upcoming tournament, one Wolves star is set to miss out on the World Cup after a blow in qualifying.

Unfortunately for David Moller Wolfe, Hugo Bueno cannot be dropped

David Moller Wolfe is in a really tough position at Wolves, as Hugo Bueno is in great form.

The Norwegian has barely played for the Wanderers, and that is in large part thanks to how good Bueno has been this season.

Rayan Ait Nouri leaving was a big blow, and Moller Wolfe was meant to be his replacement; however, it was the Spaniard who has filled the void instead.

Wolfe will get game time at some point, and he will need to impress Vitor Pereira in those games if he wants a chance to usurp Bueno.
