How Sasa Kalajdzic performed in his LASK debut after Wolves loan exit

Sasa Kalajdzic’s Wolves career has been filled with a lot of disappointments, and most of those are not down to the striker himself.

The Austrian has been extremely unlucky to pick up multiple ACL injuries while contracted to the Old Gold.

The injuries have unfortunately limited his career at the club, and he has been sent on numerous loan moves in order to get game time.

In the summer, the striker embarked on another temporary move, joining LASK in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The agreement included Wolves covering most of the striker’s salary.

Here is how Sasa Kalajdzic got on as he made his debut for the club.

Sasa Kalajdzic was promising off the bench for LASK

After only recently joining LASK, Sasa Kalajdzic was only deemed ready to have minutes off the bench for the club.

Sasa’s new club had gone down 1-0 in the 30th minute to Altach from a penalty, and in the 60th minute, he was brought on to try level the score.

The Austrian striker made himself a handful for the opposition and was dominant across his duels. He won eight out of eleven contested duels.

He had one shot, and created one chance, combining to create a total xG+A of 0.43 via FotMob, which was the highest of any LASK player despite playing just half an hour.

It was certainly a promising debut, and he’ll be hoping to build off that for their next match.
