A journalist has suggested how much Tottenham Hotspur value Wolves winger Pedro Neto.
The 24-year-old is still a Wolves player despite there having been so much speculation about his future in 2024.
Many Wolves fans had expected the Portugal international to have left by now.
But seemingly, the sale of Max Kilman has allowed Wolves to set a high asking price of £60 million. The club are not under financial pressure to sell Neto.
So far, clubs have been unwilling to bid for Neto. Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be a club interested in signing Neto, but they certainly don’t value Neto as high as £60 million.
Tottenham Hotspur ‘looking more at that £40-45 million’ mark for Pedro Neto

Pretty much all the big Premier League clubs have been linked with Neto at some point this year.
Arsenal have probably been the team most heavily linked and for the longest. But apparently the Gunners have reservations about Neto’s injury record.
Liverpool recently came back into the race, and could make a swoop for both him and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Spurs are in the mix too. It was claimed recently that they could focus more on Neto due to a potential move for Eberechi Eze being complicated. Journalist Ben Jacobs gave an update on the north London club’s current position on a potential move for the Wolves man.
He said on talkSPORT: “I still think we have to keep a very close eye on Pedro Neto and Tottenham.
“And even though Wolves want this kind of £60 million number and Spurs are looking more at that £40-45 million, I think the compromise is going to be in the add-ons.
“As long as you pay big for Neto but the add-ons are appearance-based, then if he hits that number, he is playing. If he is playing, he is fit and then you are prepared to pay the fee.
“The worry for suitors with Neto, particularly Spurs, is they don’t want to overpay and then find the injury woes make that a bad investment.”
Spurs will need to get serious
If Tottenham want to sign Neto then they’ll need to take things seriously.
Wolves want £60 million for Neto and are not under any pressure to sell the player. Now, the player could end up pushing for a move which might change the picture slightly. But even then, Wolves hold all the cards.
Neto has a contract at Wolves until 2027, so the ball is firmly in the club’s court.
Lots of clubs are interested in Neto and there is a reasonable chance that Wanderers will get close to that £60 million asking price.
Spurs saw first-hand how good Neto is when he starred in Wolves’ 2-1 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in February, when he made a superb assist on the counter-attack for Joao Gomes to score his second goal.
So they should know that offering £40 million isn’t going to cut it. Also, Wolves just sold Kilman for that much and Neto is considerably better and has a much higher ceiling.
