The Opta supercomputer is back and has provided the percentage chance of Wolves being relegated after they have yet to win a game before facing Fulham.
Vitor Pereira’s squad are sitting dead last in the Premier League table, and things are looking bleak at the moment.
Toxicity at Molineux is climbing, with Steve Bull defending fans for their actions against Burnley last week, but dropping down to the Championship continues to look the most likely outcome.
However, Dave Edwards feels Wolves have a ‘superpower’ for the relegation fight this season.
Before the season kicked off, the data powerhouse had Wolves in 17th place, but after the start to the season, you would expect that to change.

Wolves are the big favourites to go down now
Zero wins from nine games has drastically changed the probability of Wolves going down in both the eyes of fans and now the supercomputer.
Previously, Wolves had just a 26.4% chance of going down, but now the pendulum has swung in the opposite direction.
According to the simulations now, the Old Gold are in real danger with an 88.3% likelihood of relegation.
Interestingly, none of the three promoted sides are in the projected bottom three, with Nottingham Forest and West Ham joining Wolves.
Those three sides mentioned above have ignored a rising trend, and that could be one reason for their continued struggles.
Additionally, the supercomputer has Wolves finishing well behind the pace, ending the season on just 29 points, and ten behind safety.
It is still early in the season, and as we have seen so far, the supercomputer is constantly shifting its projections.
Anything can happen in football, and it is played on the pitch and not in the computer. However, it still does make for bad viewing.
But as long as there remains that 11.7% chance of avoiding the drop, you may as well still have some hope but that window is dwindling.
Wolves running out of time to turn things around
There is still time to turn this season around, but the window is starting to close, and it is doing so quickly.
The Old Gold need to enter December with at least two wins to provide some optimism among the fans, as when Wolves fans have hope, Molineux can be a useful weapon.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |

| 18 | 9 | 1 | 2 | 6 | 5 | 17 | -12 | 5 | |

As it stands, Vitor Pereira’s future at the club is counting down, but the Wolves head coach insists he is not paying attention to speculation.
Instead, he is looking for solutions to correct the course for this season, and let’s hope he can do so quickly, or else someone else will have to come and do that instead.
