Vitor Pereira completed his first signing at Wolves by welcoming centre-back Emmanuel Agbadou from Stade Reims.
Wolves set out to sign a centre-back in January, wasting no time by acquiring Agbadou on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Pereira also wasted no time with the player, throwing his new signing into the action just days after his arrival, seeing the Ivorian start in the FA Cup.
Agbadou impressed against Bristol City, with the 27-year-old set to get his first taste of the Premier League on Wednesday night against Newcastle United.

What the Wolves squad think of Emmanuel Agbadou
Agbadou was thrown in at the deep end and is now ready to plunge to new depths at St James’ Park.
Pereira was pleased with Agbadou’s debut, with the early signs very encouraging for Wolves’ January signing.
The Wolves manager isn’t the only figure at Compton said to be impressed with the Ivory Coast international, as Jose Sa shared his verdict on his new teammate.
“He’s been very good. We are a very good group, and we have very good people, and all of us are trying to put him inside of the group,” Sa told Wolves’ official website.
“I think we did that, and I think he feels comfortable with us, and this is good for us.”
Agbadou seems to have won over his teammates in the dressing room, with Sa also applauding the defender’s ability on the pitch.
“Physically, he’s very good. Technically, he shows very good stuff. It’s early to say, I didn’t know him before, but of course, he will bring us a lot of help that we need.”
Agbadou set to be tested against Newcastle
It’s positive to learn that the Wolves squad are already warming to Agbadou, who spent two and a half years in Ligue 1 before transitioning to the English game.

As seen above, Agbadou was calm and composed on his debut but now, the 27-year-old must brace himself for a far greater challenge.
Chris Sutton warned Wolves of Newcastle’s threat going forward, as Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon prepare to test Pereira’s side.
Having come up against the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi in France, Agbadou is more than qualified to handle the Magpies’ threat, in what will be a fierce first test for the Ivorian.
