There may be hope for Wolves picking up their first win of the season, as history is on their side when they play Fulham.
Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore coming up against their old club will be one of the many storylines of the day, but the future of Vitor Pereira will certainly steal the show.
While the club insists that Pereira’s not in immediate danger, it would feel difficult to keep him on should the Wanderers fail to win.
Just like Burnley, this is another must-win, and the stakes could not be higher.
There is a real lack of positivity going around the club at the moment, but historical precedents could provide just a small bit of optimism heading into Saturday.

Fulham are one of Wolves’ best opponents, result-wise, in the Premier League
Wolves will be heading into Saturday’s game knowing anything other than a win would be a disaster.
They sit at the bottom of the table and are still the only side not to win a game across this league season.
Their opponents, Fulham, have also been struggling so far, and the London side are in 17th place, six points above the Wanderers.
Despite no wins from nine, there could be hope among those at Molineux, as Wolves have had quite a bit of joy against Fulham, more than most sides in the Premier League.
In fact, they have beaten the Cottagers more times (8) than they have won against any other team besides Tottenham and Southampton (9).
Additionally, Fulham are heading into the match in terrible form. They have lost all of their last four games in the Premier League.

On top of that, Fulham also tend to struggle against those in the drop zone. When it comes to playing relegation candidates at home, the London side are winless in their last five matches against teams who started the day in the bottom three.
History and statistics are all on Wolves’ side, but as they have learnt far too often this season, that will not help them if the performance on the pitch is not up to scratch.
Wolves need to start from the beginning against Fulham
In the last two matches, Wolves have started way too slowly, and that led to them going behind.
When they faced Chelsea, the Blues were able to capitalise by scoring three goals in the first half, and versus Burnley, the Clarets scored twice in the opening 45.
In both matches, the second-half performance was night and day compared to the previous, but that is a cause for concern.
If the Wanderers want to have any hope of staying in the Premier League, they must be switched on for the whole game, rather than only having a good performance across one set of 45.
At the moment, their form has led to those who were still backing them to stay up to change their opinion. Mick McCarthy believes Wolves are now a relegation side despite previously believing the opposite.
Let’s hope a win against Fulham can provide a better outlook for the future.
