Wolves have struggled to source goals this season with two players carrying the side in attack.
This issue has cost Wolves several points already with slim margin defeats which could’ve swung the other way with better finishing.
Many have therefore began to look at £15 million signing from summer 2022 Sasa Kalajdzic, and ask why he isn’t playing.
Kalajdzic suffered an injury on his Wolves debut and missed the entirety of last season at Molineux.
Showing his scoring touch this season already against Everton with a late winner, many see him as the answer to Wolves’ scoring problems.
But he still isn’t back to fitness and is struggling, with Gary O’Neil suggesting he is a while away yet.

O’Neil on Sasa Kalajdzic
Express and Star have reported that Gary O’Neil expects Kalajdzic still has a long recovery road ahead despite playing regularly.
He said: “He’s still got a way to go to get back to pre-injury, which is expected.
“He played 55 minutes the other night and was asking to come off at that point because he had nothing left in his legs, that’s where Sasa is at the moment.”
A worrying message which suggests the injury concerns of Kalajdzic aren’t over yet.
When fit, Sasa could be great
Kalajdzic has been impressive when given the chance this season which should give many huge faith in him.
Two goals and an assist already in just five games for Wolves this campaign.
His size also lends itself really well to Wolves’ style of play which would see him a target for Pedro Neto and Hee-Chan Hwang to play around and into.
A great fit, but it is important we ease him back as to avoid re-aggravating his injury.
