Pedro Neto has caught the eye this season so far for Wolves as he’s been at his creative best.
Four assists in the Premier League already which sees him joint top with Mohammed Salah.
He was unstoppable in particular last week against Liverpool, with Joe Gomez unable to get near to him.
Because of this form, he has been the subject of media interest, as Gary O’Neil was asked about his form directly in his pre-game press conference.
O’Neil was full of praise for the winger as he talked him up as a hard worker who will be pivotal for Wolves.

O’Neil praises Neto
Speaking in his pre-match press conference to media, as seen on the club website, O’Neil said:
“I didn’t see Pedro up close last season and he’s suffered some injuries, but the upturn in his performances this season has been because he’s fully committed to the work that we’re doing, he’s fully committed to how we’re going to play and fully committed to how it’s going to benefit him.
“He’s attacked every training session with 100 per cent commitment and you’re starting to see the benefits. He will be hugely important for us, he’s a fantastic player, hugely talented and he’s working extremely hard without the ball as well as bringing big quality with it, so I’m really pleased with Pedro.
“I spoke to him at length this week about his game and bits we can still add to it, but he’s one of the ones I’m really pleased with the progress we’ve seen with him.”
Clearly Neto has impressed everyone at Molineux so far this season with his displays.
Neto’s season so far
Neto has been on fire this season, and his aforementioned four assists are just the tip of the iceberg.
Neto averages 3.4 key passes per game as per SofaScore which is a huge amount for a winger.
He also averages 3.2 accurate crosses per game which is perfect for the game of Sasa Kalajdzic.
He has won 4.2 duels per 90 and completes 2.6 dribbles too, an all round dangerous player Wolves have seen so far this season.
But as ever with Neto, can he keep it up?
