Gary O’Neil has explained what happened at the end of Wolves vs Aston Villa that saw he and his opposite number Unai Emery clash.
Wolves and Villa played out a 1-1 draw at Molineux.
Hwang Hee-chan continued his fine form by opening the scoring for Wolves.
The South Korean converted after more great wing play by Pedro Neto.
But Wolves could barely hold on for a minute, before Pau Torres grabbed an equaliser.
As is usually the games with derby matches, there was a bit of spice to the contest.
Mario Lemina saw a second yellow card at the end for a shirt pull on Nico Zaniolo.
And emotions spilled over a little at the end, with O’Neil and Emery not shaking hands with one another…
Hary O’Neil plays down Unai Emery incident
O’Neil, inevitably, was asked about what happened between him and the Spaniard in his post-match press conference.

The Englishman wouldn’t get into too much detail though, and rather played it down.
He said: “A lot of nothing. I was moaning at the fourth official and Unai Emery didn’t want to wait for the handshake. So I said no problem, go down the tunnel. My conversation with the fourth official lasted about eight seconds.”
Journalist Liam Keen added before this that Wolves were absolutely furious about referee Rob Jones playing more than the 12 minutes off injury-time.
O’Neil was making the fury clear, and he and Emery exchanged words. A handshake was offered by O’Neil, but Emery refused.
