Wolves are now in the process of finding a new manager after sacking Vitor Pereira, and two former associates are in the frame for the job.
Pereira has been sacked by Wolves after a run of terrible results, having not won in the Premier League since April.
This term, Wolves are still winless after 10 games, and are rock bottom of the Premier League with just two points.
Pereira’s position had become untenable at Molineux. Unfortunately, while the problems run far deeper than him, the manager simply had to go.
Now, it’s all about who will replace him, with whoever comes in having a massive job on their hands.
Brendan Rodgers is open to the Wolves job, but there are also a few more names in the frame.
Four more managerial names on Wolves shortlist after Brendan Rodgers

Wolves are in a world of trouble at the moment, which makes it absolutely paramount that the club get this appointment right.
We know that Brendan Rodgers is open to the job.
But in the last moments, a few more claims have been made with regards to potential successors.
As per journalist David Ornstein, former Wolves manager Gary O’Neil could be an option, as could Middlesbrough head coach and former Wolves defender, Rob Edwards.
Molineux News’ transfer expert Graeme Bailey has also been told these two former associates of Wolves are of interest.
Michael Carrick is also named by Ornstein.
And then, journalist Tom Collomosse has also reported that Rui Borges, who is currently at Sporting CP, is under consideration by Molineux officials.
Fosun facing the biggest decision of their ownership at Wolves
Fosun have made the right decision sacking Pereira.
It remains to be seen if it’ll be too little, too late, but make no mistake about it – the Wolves owners now face the biggest decision of their ownership to date.
Most people have already written Wolves off.

Relegation may well be inevitable, but there’s still so much football left to play and Wolves simply have to get it right.
Going back to O’Neil would be an extraordinary move, and moves for Edwards and Carrick would also be risky.
Rui Borges is a fascinating link, especially since he just won the Portuguese league title with Sporting. It would certainly be a very different challenge for him if he came to Wolves.
