Wolves are potentially in for a long old season, with Julen Lopetegui looking like he could walk before the first game.
Wanderers have reportedly held talks with former Bournemouth manager Gary O’Neil about replacing the Spaniard.
Lopetegui is fed up with the current situation at Molineux.
The former Sevilla boss has constantly spoken about the need to strengthen the squad to be competitive in the Premier League.
But he’s unable to get new players in due to the club’s overspending in the past year.
Only Tom King and Matt Doherty have come in on frees so far.
After the 3-1 win over Rennes on Saturday, some wolves fans were left feeling very optimistic about the season ahead.
But many are now feeling despondent once again.
And Gary Neville has now dropped his prediction about the club this season.
Gary Neville makes prediction for Wolves ahead of new season
A new video on The Overlap YouTube channel dropped this morning.

At the end of it, Wolves came up.
In the eyes of Sky pundit Neville, Wolves are going to be OK as they will get some new players in on loan before the transfer window closes.
He said: “I think the ownership are connected to the right agents and they will get the right players in on loan at the end of the window. I’ll add to Luton and Sheffield United, I’ll go Bournemouth.”
Jamie Carragher believes that Wolves could be a bit of trouble due to their current inability to spend.
Wolves could be in trouble
If Lopetegui goes then Wolves could be in real trouble.
The squad is decent, but it undoubtedly needs more additions.
If the squad picked up a few injuries throughout the new season, then it’s questionable whether the depth would be there.

Lopetegui is right to feel as though he needs new faces. And his frustrations are very understandable.
But Wolves just can’t spend right now to give the manager the tools he needs. And it’s likely to be that way in January, too.
