Wolves crashed to a fifth straight defeat in the Premier League on Saturday, and Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer have mulled over one recent decision at the club.
Wolves lost 3-1 to Leeds United at Molineux, becoming only the sixth side to lose their first five games in the Premier League.
It was a dismal performance, and one that has now left many fans very worried for the rest of the season.

Because Leeds United are a side who are expected to be in and around the relegation zone – and Wolves made them look good.
Wolves fans could be heard chanting against Fosun again at Molineux, and there is a real feeling now that the ownership model could finally result in the club’s relegation after years of flirting with the drop.
Lots of strange decisions have taken place at the club in recent times.
And many have questioned the optics of the new contract for Vitor Pereira, including Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer.
Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer surprised by Vitor Pereira contract decision at Wolves

Last week, Wolves handed Pereira a new three-year contract.
It was something that had been on the cards for a while, after Pereira guided Wolves to safety with ease last season.
He did a very impressive job, not only getting points on the board but also helping to change the culture for the better.
It was put on the backburner while Wolves got through the transfer window, and last Thursday, Wolves finally announced the new deal.
Fans questioned the timing of the Pereira deal, with Wolves in awful form, and Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer have also now expressed their surprise.
Gary Lineker said: “I think you’d probably be a bit concerned for Wolves. A bit concerned for Brentford as well.
Shearer: “It’s a big statement as well, giving the manager a new contract.
Lineker: “I was going to ask you about that.”
Shearer: “After four games not winning, but giving him the contract, signing that and then losing to Leeds.”
Lineker: “You know when you always hear ‘the vote of confidence from the board’, they used to call it, now it’s the owners.
“Well that is a vote of confidence, a new contract is a vote of confidence isn’t it!”
Shearer: “You don’t know what’s in the contract? You don’t know how they can get out of it do you so, does it really mean anything? I guess not a lot.”

Wolves should have held off on Pereira contract
It’s clear from the tone of the conversation and that both Lineker and Shearer were surprised by the decision, and it’s a feeling many share.
Wolves should have held off announcing the Pereira contract.
The club have now arguably placed even more pressure on themselves, by drawing attention to the decision.
It surely made sense for Wolves to hold off on the decision, and hand the manager a new deal amid a winning run to feed into the positivity.
The Wolves hierarchy now have to persist with Pereira, and potentially if he does not turn things around, we could have another Gary O’Neil situation whereby he stays much longer than necessary, because of the backing through a new contract.
Hopefully, the Portuguese can defy the odds and drag Wolves up the table like he did last term.
