Gabby Agbonlahor sees Tottenham vs Wolves going just one way in brutal prediction

Saturday night will be the tale of two contrasting sides as Wolves travel to London to play Tottenham, and Gabby Agbonlahor has provided a brutal prediction.

The home team are in good form and sit third in the table, while the away team are last with zero points. The contrast could not be greater.

Vitor Pereira will be hoping to use his side’s League Cup win against Everton as a platform to finally kickstart their season

The Portuguese manager used a new tactic that could benefit several players and potentially lead to a shock result against Spurs.

However, former Premier League forward Gabby Agbonlahor only sees one thing happening.

Gabby Agbonlahor has given his predictions for this week’s Premier League games, including Wolves’ trip to Tottenham.

The former Aston Villa man was speaking on TalkSPORT and delivered a brutal verdict on the Old Gold’s chances.

Agbonlahor said in his prediction, “They are not right at the moment, Wolves. They aren’t right. They have zero points and a minus nine goal difference.

“Conceded twelve goals as well, just not good enough. I am going for a 5-0 for Tottenham Hotspur. I feel Wolves’ confidence is at its lowest, with players hiding from the ball. Comfortable home win for Spurs.”

Under Vitor Pereira, the club have become much more resolute defensively, which was a key factor in Wolves staying up last season.

However, they have not been as compact this campaign so far.

While they have shipped lots of goals this year, they have yet to concede five in a match, with Manchester City putting four past them on the opening day.

It is certainly a brutal prediction from Agbonlahor, but Thomas Frank may know a thing or two about scoring goals against Wolves.

Last time Wolves conceded five was against Thomas Frank’s Brentford

Although Wolves have been a bottom-half side for the last year, they haven’t conceded five goals during Vitor Pereira’s reign.

Interestingly, the last time the Old Gold did ship five goals, it came against this weekend’s opposing manager, Thomas Frank.

In October 2024, Brentford pipped Wolves to a 5-3 win at the G-Tech Stadium, which perhaps presents an ominous omen ahead of Saturday.

However, recent history shows that Wolves could be the ones with good fortune against Tottenham.

Vitor Pereira will be hoping to use anything to his advantage against Thomas Frank’s Spurs, and getting three points would be a major step in turning the season around.
