Wolves are looking at the possibility of losing several players later this year.
It remains to be seen what division Wolves will be in, but irrespective of that, several stars will potentially be heading out the door.
Nelson Semedo is apparently one player who’s likely to leave Wolves.
The captain stands to leave as a free agent come the end of the current season, and although there is an openness on his side to stay, he is likely to move on.
Talks will be held at some point, and it’s been suggested the high-earning trio of Semedo, Pablo Sarabia and Matheus Cunha could all depart Wolves.
Liam Keen was speaking about Semedo, and the journalist actually also shared some intriguing information regarding a former Molineux star’s exit from the club.
Joao Moutinho ‘refused to play’ for Wolves before leaving in 2023

To this day, several Wolves fans don’t really know what happened with Joao Moutinho’s exit from the club.
The veteran left in the summer of 2023 when his contract expired, and he was nowhere to be seen at Wolves’ final home game of the 2022/23 season against Everton.
In fact, Moutinho was not in any of Wolves’ final three matchday squads in the Premier League under Julen Lopetegui.
And Liam Keen has now shared why that was the case, revealing the player actually refused to play after Wolves decided not to hand him a contract extension.
Talking about Semedo, and the club wanting to handle player exits better, he said on the E&S podcast: “A really good example of this (poor player exits) is Joao Moutinho.
“He was desperate to have an extra year. He wanted an extra year, wanted to stay at Wolves. But the club decided they were going to move in the other direction, they didn’t sign him.
“And for basically the last three games of Julen Lopetegui’s season, he refused to play. He didn’t turn up to Molineux on the last (home) game of the season.
“I think the sort of amicable end you want from players who have offered a lot to the club, is going to be important as well.”
Moutinho exit was such a shame
Moutinho is arguably one of the greatest players – certainly technicians – to ever don the Wolves shirt.
So these details about his exit are a shame to hear.
There was real confusion at the end of that season when he wasn’t in the final three squads, but now this information has come to light.
Moutinho was clearly frustrated at not being offered a one-year extension, but to refuse to play is a bit of a shame.
After radio silence from the player for over a month after his contract at Wolves expired, Moutinho then sent a heartfelt message to Wolves fans on social media
