Newcastle United came from behind to beat Wolves in the Premier League however, it wasn’t all doom and gloom at Molineux.
For the third time this season, Wolves suffered defeat as Gary O’Neil’s side fell agonisingly short to Newcastle late on.
Unlike the other defeats this season, it wasn’t a particularly bad day for the Old Gold, who performed at a high level for the most part of the 90.
There were plenty of positives to take from the defeat, as Wolves were beaten by two outstanding strikes courtesy of Fabian Schar and Harvey Barnes.

Danny Rose says he’d struggle to play against Jorgen Strand Larsen
One player who stood out as one of Wolves’ best against the Magpies was Jorgen Strand Larsen, who seems to be getting better and better as his first season at Molineux goes on.
The striker earned his first Premier League assist against Newcastle, setting up Mario Lemina to give the Old Gold the lead in the first half.
While the 24-year-old’s input in the build-up was superb, it was his contribution throughout the 90 that caught the eye of former Premier League defender Danny Rose.

Speaking on Match of the Day 2, the ex-Tottenham fullback admitted that he’d struggle to play against Strand Larsen.

Strand Larsen impressed for Wolves against Newcastle
It ended as a sour afternoon for Wolves, but one that produced so many encouraging moments for O’Neil’s squad.
Strand Larsen was at the heart of many positives to take from the defeat, standing strong going forward with his assist demonstrating just that.
The 24-year-old is fitting in seamlessly at Wolves and in the English top-flight, having already contributed to two goals in his opening four appearances.
The Norweigan was unlucky not to score against Newcastle as he hit the post in the second half, with there a feeling that it will only be a matter of time before his second Wolves goal comes.
