Wolves fans are still seething today, after Max Kilman saw his late goal against West Ham United at Molineux disallowed.
Wanderers fell to a 2-1 defeat against the Hammers, having taken the lead in the first-half.
Pablo Sarabia scored from the penalty spot, After Emerson Palmieri took down Rayan Ait-Nouri. But the Hammers scored a penalty of their own in the second-half through Lucas Paqueta, before James Ward-Prowse scored direct from a corner.
Right at the death, Kilman thought he had scored an equaliser for Wolves. But VAR ruled it out after deeming Tawanda Chirewa to be interfering with play in an offside position.
He was stood in front of Lukasz Fabianski, but the ball flew into the corner and he would have had no chance of saving it.
Now, former referee Keith Hackett has had his say on the incident…
Former PL referee Keith Hackett says Lukasz Fabianski was not prevented from moving during Max Kilman goal for Wolves

The goal that was chalked off has been a huge talking point since yesterday’s game.
Ian Wright was left baffled on Match of the Day as the incident was analysed, and plenty of fans have expressed their bemusement about the decision on social media.
Gary O’Neil slammed it after the game, and even said that David Moyes and Fabianski both shared his view.
Former Premier League referee Keith Hackett has taken to X this morning to offer his thoughts about the situation. In his eyes, the goal should have stood.
Replying to a Wolves fan, he wrote: “An incorrect decision. The goalkeeper was not prevented from moving to make a save. His line of sight was not blocked. He chose to stand there and really do nothing. PGMOl statement made to justify an incorrect interpretation of the offside law.”
The Kilman disallowed goal is only the latest in a string of bad decisions to go against Wolves.
The club could easily be in the European places now had the level of officiating been at the level required.
Wolves fans sick and tired
So that’s a top former referee firmly stating that Kilman’s goal should have stood.
But Wolves fans just aren’t surprised at this point. The second it flashed up on the screen that it was being checked for offside, many just knew it was getting ruled out.
It has been that kind of season, and many supporters are just sick and tired of it at this point.
Kilman’s goal not standing yesterday is terrible for football. Fabianski could see over Chirewa and was not impeded by the youngster, despite him being in an offside position. He was free to move, but didn’t, and he was never getting to Kilman’s header.
Between this and the many other decisions that have gone against Wolves earlier in the season, and also the many injury problems O’Neil has had to contend with, it just seems impossible to see how Wolves will secure European football come the end of the season.
