13 Wolves players have been called up for international duty over the March break but, there are also some notable absences.
For the first time since joining Wolves in January 2023, Matheus Cunha has earned a call-up for Brazil alongside teammate Andre.
Cunha’s return to the Selecao was contested by some but, the Wolves ace now has the chance to make his presence on the international stage known.
Vitor Pereira will be hoping that his players both thrive and play cautiously while representing their countries, with 13 members of the Wolves squad on duty.

Five Wolves players who missed out on international call-ups
Though the likes of Cunha and co will be excited about the international break, some Wolves players were less fortunate when it came to selection.
There were several notable absences for the March international break in the Wolves squad, here are five who missed out on the action.
Joao Gomes – Brazil
Joao Gomes has been a regular under Dorival Junior however, the midfielder didn’t earn a call up for the latest round of fixtures.
Gomes missed out as the following defensive midfielders made up the numbers; Andre, Bruno Guimaraes, Gerson and Joelinton.
The Brazilian’s omission appears to be for selection reasons, with the midfielder set to remain in the West Midlands throughout the break.
Toti Gomes – Portugal
Another unfortunate player is Toti Gomes, who missed out on a Portugal call-up.
The timing of his snub is surprising given how important the defender has been at Wolves over the past few weeks, rising as one of Pereira’s most trusted figures.
Roberto Martinez is a fan of Toti but opted against selecting the centre-back at this moment in time.

Pablo Sarabia – Spain
Since representing his country in the March international break of 2024, Pablo Sarabia hasn’t returned to action for Spain.
Luis de la Fuente hasn’t called Sarabia up in almost a year and the Wolves forward’s luck didn’t change for the latest round of fixtures.
Though it’s disappointing, his omission will not come as a surprise to many as Sarabia has been criticised for his form throughout this season.
Goncalo Guedes – Portugal
Goncalo Guedes won’t be adding to his 32 caps for Portugal this month, as like Toti, the 28-year-old did not receive a call-up.
The last time the forward was called up for his country was in 2022, which is unlikely to change in a hurry unless Guedes rediscovers his form at Wolves.
Jorgen Strand Larsen – Norway
Unlike the other omissions from international duty, Jorgen Strand Larsen misses out for a reason that is not selection preference.
Strand Larsen was withdrawn from the Norway squad due to concerns about his fractured hand, with the striker ordered to rest instead of joining up with his international colleagues.
