Wolverhampton Wanderers fans may be seeing Fernando Marcal back in action very soon.
The star has not featured since the 1-0 victory over Leeds United back in February, in which the Brazilian had to be withdrawn.

The South American has been nursing a groin injury, for which he actually required surgery.
With Jonny Castro Otto also sidelined, it’s meant a big opportunity in recent weeks for Rayan Ait-Nouri at left-back/left wing-back.
Marcal had been participating in individual sessions, but it looks like his recovery is now at the next stage.

The latest batch of training photos show Marcal has now rejoined the rest of his teammates for full training. He has not previously been pictured in full sessions since sustaining his injury.
It suggests that he could soon be ready to make his return.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s press conference is on Friday and he could provide an update there about whether Marcal is in contention to play against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Marcal may not actually play
He might be ready to return to the bench, but there are no guarantees Marcal will actually take to the field before the end of the season.

He will be lacking match fitness, and Ait-Nouri is currently in fairly decent form.
Nuno Espirito Santo may not wish to disrupt the youngster’s momentum as he bids to convince the club to buy him permanently.
