Wolves’ struggles continued at the weekend as they fell to a 3-2 defeat at home to Everton, and Vitor Pereira wasn’t pleased with the performance.
It was a better performance than what we saw in the opening two games, but Wolves could not complete the comeback.

Fer Lopez impressed coming off the bench, and he has now shared the manager’s comments after the loss.
Vitor Pereira tells Wolves players what needs to be done after another loss to Everton
Wolves didn’t cover themselves in glory on the defensive side at Molineux, and despite a valiant comeback effort, the final whistle confirmed a third straight Premier League loss.
Vitor Pereira was rightfully not best pleased.
Fer Lopez spoke to E&S in the aftermath of Saturday’s match, saying: “We were gutted at the final whistle because we thought we could tie the game at the end.
“No-one likes to lose and as we had lost our first two games as well, he’s (Pereira) not going to be happy. This is normal. He said we have to work hard to change the situation.”
But Lopez points out the improvements that have been made under Pereira, suggesting this can be turned around.
He continues: “But when he came in here last season, things were much worse than they are now. So, we have time to change the situation.”
Fer Lopez thinks the international break will help Wolves
The season has not started how Pereira and Wolves would have hoped.
We knew there would be a period of struggle adjusting to the new faces and the absent ones.
Lopez thinks the international break comes at the perfect time, giving Wolves a chance to reassess.

He says: “When you lose, it’s not good and we have hard work ahead. But the international break is going to help us a little bit. It will allow everyone to get more rhythm playing with their international teams.
“Then, we will come back with an open mind and be ready to learn, to work hard, and to win.”
We need to get past the transfer deadline this evening, and then the real analysis of Wolves prospects on the season can begin.
