Fer Lopez and Rodrigo Gomes react to Ladislav Krejci’s Wolves debut vs Newcastle

Ladislav Krejci’s Wolves debut was one of the biggest positives during the Old Gold’s 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United.

The Czech international was surprised to be played in midfield, but was eventually put back into his more familiar centre-back role.

Fans were left excited by Krejci’s performance, and it seems the new arrival is quickly becoming a favourite among supporters.

However, the Old Gold faithful were not the only ones to react to the player’s Premier League debut, as Fer Lopez and Rodrigo Gomes sent him a message via social media.

Fer Lopez and Rodrigo Gomes send encouraging message to Ladislav Krejci

After Wolves’ defeat at St. James’ Park, Ladislav Krejci stated he already felt his teammates working hard, and now those teammates are returning the message.

The former Girona player took to social media to post about his inaugural appearance, saying he was “grateful for the debut in the new colours.”

Teammates Fer Lopez and Rodrigo Gomes then left him encouraging messages underneath the post.

Lopez simply left two clapping hand emojis showing his appreciation for his performance against Newcastle.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo Gomes reacted by dropping two fire emojis, clearly showcasing he was impressed by the new player’s debut.

Additionally, Sasa Kalajdzic, who is on loan at LASK, responded saying, “Let‘s go” with two applauding emojis as well.

Based on his first 90 minutes for the club, Krejci is no doubt going to be an important player for Vitor Pereira this season.

And the reactions left by his teammates speak to his quality and show he is already becoming a popular figure at Molineux.

Ladislav Krejci could be Wolves’ best signing this summer

He has only played one match, but Ladislav Krejci has already shown more in 90 minutes than some of Wolves’ other signings.

Jhon Arias is still trying to adapt to English football, and has yet to register a goal involvement in competitive action, but his quality is clear to see.

Both David Moller Wolfe and Jackson Tchatchoua found themselves on the bench against Newcastle, and Wolves’ wingback duo of Hugo Bueno and Rodrigo Gomes were impressive on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Tolu Arokodare showed glimpses of his quality, but Krejci’s calmness and composure will prove to be a key asset this season.

It is now evident why Wolves were keen to spend so much on the versatile Czech.
