‘Fed up’ Wolves man could now quit the club after recent developments

Wolves’ transfer woes have continued to dominate this summer to the extent it could be fatal.

The club are well known to be dealing this summer under strict financial constraints which has seen a quiet summer.

Free transfers Matt Doherty and Tom King are the only players to arrive, with Matheus Cunha and Boubacar Traore both making their loans official too.

Along with this Wolves have seen multiple star players walk out the door, Nathan Collins, Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez have all left un-replaced.

This has led to many within the Wolves camp speaking out, such as their new arrival Doherty who spoke last week over the need for signings.

This is only timid in comparison to how Julen Lopetegui must feel about how this summer has gone.

Lopetegui to exit the Molineux?

The quiet window and lack of backing seems to have left Lopetegui on the verge of walking out.

According to The Mirror who report that Lopetegui is considering his position at the Molineux.

Continuing it says depending on how the final weeks of the window go, he could walk out.

The fed-up Spaniard is concerned over having to sell some of the clubs top talents with no replacements.

Lopetegui will also be infuriated over the developments around Alex Scott, with Bournemouth set to pinch the player who was Wolves’ top target.

The report adds Lopetegui is worried over the squad’s state, and is concerned they aren’t strong enough to survive a relegation battle.

Can Wolves salvage this window

With little over a week until the season begins for Wolves, there isn’t much time to get things sorted.

There are still players being linked with moves away from the club which will only further Lopetegui’s unhappiness.

In terms of incomings, only Konstantinos Mavropanos has been linked heavily, which is a position Wolves need.

There is time to solve this issue and in a weeks time, we could be having very different conversations, but as of now it is looking bleak.
