Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to a new social media post from Pedro Neto.

The winger remains unavailable for selection just at the moment.

The 21-year-old is still working his way back from a broken patella he suffered towards the end of last season.

Neto’s injury caused him to miss the last seven Premier League games of 2020/21, and he also couldn’t go to Euro 2020.

It was highly like he would have been selected by Fernando Santos, so that was a huge disappointment for the player.

So far this season, Wolves have managed OK without Neto.

But there’s no denying things could be better if he was fit.

Wolves last provided an injury update on the player at the end of last month.

The club said he would have a specialist review on his progress in October.

No specific return date was announced, so fans will need to be patient.

Earlier reports had indicated he would be sidelined until as late as February.

Wolves will hope that he’s back much sooner than that.

£16 million signing Neto is clearly missing being out on the pitch and playing under a new head coach.

The youngster has taken to Instagram to upload a clip of the brilliant goal he scored against Chelsea last season at Molineux.

The last-gasp strike at Molineux that evening serves as a reminder of the amazing talent and potential he has.

Some Wolves fans were left drooling because of the clip:
