Fans yesterday showered praise on Vitinha, who played a starring role for FC Porto against Moreirense.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers loan star was handed a first start of the campaign by manager Sergio Conceicao.

He was part of a very young side for the hosts that included several U19 Youth League winners from 2019.
Minutes had been scarce for Vitinha up until Sunday. He had previously made just two substitute appearances against Arouca and Atletico Madrid.
But he finally got his chance, and really made the most of his time on the pitch.

It was a dominant display from Porto, with Vitinha seeing lots of the ball in midfield.
Sofascore statistics indicate he completed 69/73 passes (93%), and had the most touches out of anyone on the pitch with 89.
He also won 8/12 duels.
Wolves, of course, declined the opportunity to sign Vitinha on a permanent deal following the end of his loan spell last season.
He wasn’t afforded too many chances by Nuno Espirito Santo, and eventually club officials decided not to fork out the £17 million required.

On social media, supporters were left hugely impressed with Vitinha after his first start of the new season.
