Sheffield United could only draw 2-2 with Preston North End last night, but there was plenty of praise for Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Morgan Gibbs-White.

The 21-year-old was making his second appearance for the Blades, after completing a loan move to the club on transfer deadline day.

Gibbs-White did really well at the weekend, grabbing a fantastic goal in the 6-2 win over Peterborough United.

And he followed that up with another goal last night on his second start.

The star took just seven minutes to make an impact.

He volleyed home from around the penalty spot after Preston were unable to clear a cross.

Daniel Johnson then equalised for Preston.

United took the lead again on 84 minutes when Sander Berge struck, but Slavisa Jokanovic’s side could not hold on as Emil Riis Jakobsen scored in the 95th minute.

Come the end of the game though, fans were lavishing praise on Gibbs-White for another great display.

A number of Wolves fans were perplexed when the club decided to allow him to head out on loan.

Some felt his departure would leave Wolves a little light.

He had also looked very lively in pre-season and was great against Nottingham Forest in the 4-0 Carabao Cup win.

Sheffield United have clearly got themselves a player who is determined to shine.
