Fabio Silva is set to be the latest Wolves attacker to leave the club this summer, sources close to Molineux News understand.
Fabio Silva has been a fixture in transfer rumours at Wolves since returning from his fruitful loan spell with Las Palmas.
Fans have been divided over Silva’s future, with some seeing his youth and potential as a worthwhile investment to hold, while others are desperate to recoup some of the £35 million the club spent on his signature back in 2020, a club record fee at the time.

But it seems the Portuguese striker won’t get the chance to turn his career at Molineux around, as the club ‘fully expect’ him to depart during this window.
Silva never found his feet at Wolves, and after many years on the fringes or out on loan, a permanent move away for a decent fee could be best for everyone.
Fabio Silva likely to move to Germany with three Bundesliga clubs interested
According to Molineux News’ transfer expert Graeme Bailey, after numerous German sides have shown interest in Silva in recent months, the Bundesliga remains the most likely destination for the forward.
Eintracht Frankfurt are in the market for a striker after Hugo Ekitike’s departure, and with full pockets following the sale, as well as a proven track record with young No. 9s, they may be the ideal landing spot for Silva.
Another German side reportedly monitoring Silva’s situation is RB Leipzig. Their talisman, Benjamin Sesko, looks bound for England, and Leipzig see Silva as a viable replacement. Dortmund, too, have shown interest.
Silva has made it clear that he wants European football, turning down Wolfsburg for that very reason.
Wherever he ends up, one thing is for certain: as Bailey notes with his latest update, Wolves fully expect Silva to leave in this window.
Wolves’ attacking rebuild continues
With Matheus Cunha’s high-profile move to Manchester United and Goncalo Guedes rumoured to be leaving for Real Sociedad, Wolves have been tasked with rebuilding their attack in the summer window.

The additions of Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias have gone some way to filling the void, and making Jorgen Strand-Larsen’s move permanent after an impressive loan spell has been received well by the fans.
With money coming in from sales, Wolves have some flexibility in the market. It’s even more clear with the news of Silva likely exiting that a backup striker is needed. Millwall’s Mihailo Ivanovic has been linked to Wolves and a deal for Leverkusen’s Amine Adli is being pursued.
The last few weeks of the window will be busy for the club and fans will be hoping to see at least a couple more attackers come through the door to help start the season strong.
