Emmanuel Agbadou names the Wolves teammate who makes football ‘too easy’ for him

Wolves recorded a huge win over Ipswich Town at the weekend – and Emmanuel Agbadou was full of praise for one of his teammates.

Wolves went 12 points clear of the relegation zone with the win, and will surely now stay up.

Pablo Sarabia came off the bench to equalise for Wolves at Portman Road, after Liam Delap put the hosts 1-0 up in the first-half.

That goal from the Spaniard was huge, and paved the way for Wolves to go on and win it through Jorgen Strand Larsen.

It was a great second-half display from Wolves, after Vitor Pereira told the players at half-time to play faster.

Emmanuel Agbadou was involved in the build-up for Wolves’ first goal, and after the game, he piled praise on one of his teammates.

Saturday saw Agbadou put in yet another impressive performance at the back for Wolves.

The Ivory Coast international has had a transformative impact for Wanderers since he arrived from Reims, and the star looks a total bargain at £16 million.

He seems to just do everything with ease, and on Saturday we saw him play a terrific ball over the top for Strand Larsen, who then found Sarabia to score.

For Agbadou, Strand Larsen is a dream to play with.

He told Wolves Express: “You know me now, it’s very easy to play with him! When I have the ball I look always for him, and he is ready to receive the ball.

“When you have a striker like this, it’s too easy for a defender like me to play this ball.”

Jorgen Strand Larsen can do it all

Strand Larsen has been a great signing for Wolves.

The club will be paying a lot of money to turn his move permanent this summer, but the Norway international has proved his worth in old gold.

He’s now returned 11 Premier League goals in his debut season which is impressive going.

But Strand Larsen is not just about goals – he is a team player, and someone who grafts every game. He comes short, runs the channels, holds it up and gets in the box.

He’s still only 24, so it’s exciting to think of the level he could reach in a few years.

Nelson Semedo praised Strand Larsen last week for his overall game, and now Agbadou has hailed his teammate. Clearly, he is doing something very right.
