Emmanuel Agbadou sat down for a new interview, in which he said something very encouraging about the Wolves dressing room right now.
The Ivory Coast international is raring to go ahead of his first full season at Wolves.
Emmanuel Agbadou joined the club in January of this year, and was an instant hit.
Wolves’ defence had been all over the place under Gary O’Neil. But Agbadou came in and added steel and authority.
Agbadou was a real game-changer of a signing, and he stands to play a big part in the upcoming season for Wolves.
Some have tipped Agbadou to be the next captain of Wolves, although Vitor Pereira hasn’t given him the armband yet in pre-season.
But Agbadou certainly feels Wolves aren’t short of contenders.
Emmanuel Agbadou says Wolves have ‘too many’ leaders

Nelson Semedo recently left Wolves at the end of his contract and is now a free agent.
Wolves have yet to actually announce his exit officially.
But it is very clear that he has gone, and therefore a new skipper needs choosing.
Toti Gomes appears to be the frontrunner to be captain at the moment, having worn the armband for one-and-a-half games in pre-season.
Some have suggested that Wolves don’t actually have many leaders.
But that is not the way Agbadou sees it.
Making a very encouraging claim about the dressing room right now, Agbadou said: “I try to do my best you know?
“I will try honestly to continue the work I did last season. I will not try to be an older person because you change your mind like this. I will try to be the same person and continue to manage the group like I can.
“There are too many leaders in this group! Like (Jose) Sa, Doherty, Toti. So I can say I’m a leader (with them). I will try to do my part, and let’s see.”

Agbadou could become part of Wolves leadership group
From the way Agbadou has spoken in this new interview, he does not give the feeling that he really wants the armband himself, but won’t be shy in showing leadership this season.
Perhaps since he only came in at the start of the season, he isn’t willing to step into the role ahead of people who have been here a long time.
But his comments about there being several leaders in the group are encouraging.
He said it in a positive way, so there is likely to be some form of leadership group once again for the coming campaign.
Toti, Doherty and Agbadou will all surely be a part of it, and goalkeepers Sa and Bentley too as experienced heads.
