Former Wolves midfielder David Edwards has praised Adama Traore and Ruben Neves.
He told the Express and Star that both men impressed him so much on Sunday despite the 1-0 home defeat to Tottenham.
Neves was guilty of giving the ball away which led to the only goal of the game, but aside from that, he had a great game.
The Portugal international laid on Traore in the second half for a goal which would have been deserved rewards for a great afternoon’s work – but Hugo Lloris denied him.

“Adama was sensational on Sunday. We have seen reports that Spurs are keen but Wolves have to keep him because he is the difference-maker in that team at the moment.
“He could play for any Premier League club because of what he offers. I’ve never seen anything like his explosiveness, he will make Wolves so many chances.
“I also thought Neves was sensational the other day, absolutely brilliant – apart from the one pass that led to their goal!
“I was at Molineux to watch Wolves’ first home game and having seen them first hand I could really see what Bruno Lage was trying to do.”

Keeping the club’s top players is integral to what Bruno Lage is trying to do at Wolves.
If Traore does go – and we’re a long way off from that yet – it’s hard to think of a player Wolves could get who is as explosive as him.
It’s the same with Neves; he’s a Champions League standard midfielder who would take some replacing.
But it looks like he’s settled right now and he won’t make many mistakes like Sunday’s this season.
